  • Adhesive Strength 1: Removable
  • - an acrylic water based adhesive with good initial tack yet removable from a wide variety of substances including glass, metal, polyethylene and polypropylene. This adhesive exhibits excellent ageing characteristics and is also suitable for some chilled cabinet applications.
  • Adhesive Strength 2: Permanent -
  • an acrylic adhesive designed to give high tack and good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces including both polar and non-polar substrates. Permanent adhesive should be used when labelling difficult substrates like polyethylene and carton board.
  • Adhesive Strength 3: Marine Approved BS5609 (Permanent)
  • - a high coat weight rubber-resin hot melt adhesive, designed to give excellent tack and adhesion to both polar and non-polar substrates. The increased coating weight gives improved performance on rough, textured surfaces. BS5609 testing includes a 3 month exposure of labelled test plates in salt water at mid-tide.

Our thermal transfer printing systems are intalled and working in a range of diverse places such as steel mills where barcode labelling is required at high temperatures upto and exceeding 600oC, chemical plants, brick kilns, timber processing, autoclaves and wire drawers.  In all cases product identification and tracking are achieved through barcoding and unique numbering.

OKI LED (laser) printers are a versitile option for customers wishing to print colour labels and materials in house.  IML manufactures laser printable labels, in both tear resistant and paper based options, in a wide range of standard formats.  Some of our most popular formats are held in stock for immediate call off.

IML are proud to offer the Pannier laser marking system specifically for barcoding metal tags that withstand temperatures up to 1000oC.

The thermal transfer printers featured on our website include 12 months on-site warranty compared with return to base warranty offered by most other suppliers (OKI printers are supplied with standard manufacturers warranty).

Barcode Scanners

These devices increase the speed of data retrieval and processing.  CCD scanners are more robust and shock resistant than laser scanners and are, therefore, more suited to the industrial environment.  Laser scanners suit long range scanning.
